ASEC - Jordan parts 1 to 4
Part 1 Five weeks into the ASEC crisis, and the world was at breaking point. Our town had businesses simply abandoned, police and fire services almost entirely gone. We untransformed were just trying to live like we did before, albeit with the constant threat of the signal. No television, smartphones, internet. I was still going to school every day, and despite everything I was just as miserable as I'd ever been. There weren't enough teachers anymore, and many children were absent, either being kept at home by protective parents or not having attendance enforced by transformed parents. I was just eighteen, underdeveloped, nerdy, and bullied. The fear of ASEC hadn't given my tormentors any less of a reason to mock me, just a new angle. Whereas before I was a called weed, or gay, I now got asked why ASEC only turned me halfway into a little girl. I still got beat up.
